Scott Henderson (19), who is considered the second-choice candidate for the 2023 NBA draft following Victor Wembanyama (19, France), is mentored by Stephen Curry (35).
According to the Associated Press, Curry signed a brand partnership agreement with Henderson on the morning of the 16th (Korean time).
Curry’s company, ‘SC30 Inc.’, has entered into a partnership with ‘Next Play 360’ gym. They will focus on basketball and make a good impact off the court as well. 안전놀이터
‘Next Play 360’, run by Henderson and his sister Crystal Henderson, is known for serving local residents while providing food to the surrounding community.
Henderson, who was mentored by Curry, said, “It is a blessing for me and the people around me to receive basic education and knowledge from Curry.” It’s a really cool thing,” he said with emotion.
Curry encouraged Henderson and his sister that “the resources that come from young people can lead to purposes other than putting the ball in the basket.”
Meanwhile, Henderson will attend the 2023 NBA Draft, which will be held in June. He gets a chance to reach Curry at the top level.
Henderson currently plays point guard for the G League Ignite. He’s particularly good at scoring as a ball handler, so he’s projected to be second-choice. He has a weakness of not being a good 3-pointer, but he will work to overcome it with Curry.
