As the application of the substitute holiday for Buddha’s Birthday was confirmed, some K-League 1 and 2 match schedules were changed.
The Korea Professional Football Federation announced in a press release on the 4th, “As May 29 (Mon) has been designated as a substitute holiday for Buddha’s Birthday, some K League 1 and K League 2 game schedules will be changed.”
The kick-off for the match between Pohang Steelers and Jeonbuk Hyundai in the 15th round of the K League 1 will be changed from 4:30 pm on the 28th to 4:30 pm on the 29th, the next day. The match venue is the same as Pohang Steel Yard.
During the 15th round of the K-League 2, the kick-off times of Bucheon FC 1955 and Gimpo FC were delayed by a day. The match between the two teams will be held on the 29th at 4:00 pm at Bucheon Sports Complex.
“At the time of the final announcement of this year’s K-League match schedule, the federation notified the club that if an alternative holiday is designated for Buddha’s Birthday, the schedule of the two matches will be automatically changed. To disperse the K-League matches using the alternative holiday, We have changed the schedule of two games,” he added.
